Billy Procida

William Procida is president of Procida Funding & Advisors, LLC. He has been an independent entrepreneur since 1980. Procida Funding was founded in 1995 and is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The firm specializes in providing management and capital for both distressed and value added situations. In 2002, WPI became the founding member and majority shareholder of Palisades Financial (“Palisades”), which formed and managed two private equity funds. Palisades invested and managed over 100 positions including bridge and mezzanine loans. Loans and equity positions were made in excess of 1.5 billion dollars. The funds' returns to investors exceeded 15 percent annually since 2002. These investments covered a broad range of asset classes throughout the U.S., including ski resorts, transportation companies, hotels, manufacturing facilities, chemical plants, as well as conventional real estate asset classes.

In March 2008, Mr. Procida sold his interest in Palisades and resumed activities under Procida Funding, which most notably completed assignments for GMAC Mortgage Group and Ritchie Capital.

Prior to forming Procida Funding, Mr. Procida was co-president of The Procida Organization ("TPO") located in New York City. TPO ran 4 divisions: construction, real estate development, real estate brokerage, and mortgage brokerage. The firm employed over 100 people and grew from $2 million in sales in 1982 to over $70 million in sales in 1994, with all years profitable. As a contractor, the firm constructed most asset classes and was one of New York City’s premier development companies, winning numerous awards including the New York City Developer of the Year award. Mr. Procida was only 32 years old at this time. During this period, Mr. Procida borrowed and personally guaranteed and repaid over $100 million. In 1990, Mr. Procida took a leave of absence from TPO to take on a full-time assignment with the Trump Organization. Mr. Procida reported directly to Mr. Donald Trump on investments, including casinos, airlines, real estate development, and sports franchises.

Mr. Procida also had an impressive 10 year period as principal of Procida Development/Procida Construction Corporations.

Mr. Procidas’ career has been covered extensively by the press and he has appeared on numerous televised broadcasts. He has lectured on business at numerous colleges and industry association meetings and has been on the board of several non-profit organizations.

John Mullane

John Mullane has over 20 years of experience in financial services industry. At Procida Funding & Advisors (PFA) Mr. Mullane is currently responsible for Due Diligence, Underwriting, Transaction Management, and Special Situation Restructuring. Since joining the firm in 2009, he has held positions in originations and asset management and has closed over $350 million dollars in transactions for the firm.

Mr. Mullane has assisted on a multitude of advisory projects including Development Management on behalf of a New Jersey hospital to construct a 53,000 square foot medical office building, Development Advisory on a 38,000 square foot property in Philadelphia to design and develop a plan for town approval, and Restructuring Advisory to monetize a $40 million defaulted loan on a Tribeca condominium project.

Prior to joining PFA, John was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Ark Asset Management (an institutional asset manager) for an $8 billion fund, where he was responsible for the Industrial Sector (15% of the portfolio), which included the Homebuilders and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). In this role, John independently generated investment ideas, conducted fundamental analysis/due diligence, and created complex financial models to support investments. Mr. Mullane has earned his MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.

Ali Betts

Ali Betts joined Procida Funding in May 2011 as Controller. In her capacity, she is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s accounting functions and, is an integral part of our investor relations function. Ali directly supports Mr. Procida with program and investor initiatives.

Prior to joining Procida, Ali served as Controller and Investor Relations for Palisades Financial reporting directly to the partners of the firm. In her 7 years working with Palisades Financial, her main focus was working closely with investors, accountants, banks, and auditors, managing two investment Funds (Palisades Regional Investment Funds [PRIF and PRIF II]. Ali’s diverse background is an asset in providing the personalized attention for our investors.

Gregg F. Paster



Gregg Paster is a Bergen County native having grown up in Tenafly, and a 1983 Tenafly high school graduate, where he lettered in football and baseball and was elected class president freshman year. He attended Lehigh University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in History in 1988, and received a juris doctorate degree from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York in 1992.

Gregg was admitted to the bar of New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1992 and has broad legal experience in litigation, transactional and commercial law, municipal and state government law and real property and zoning law. He has been representing public and private institutional clients for nearly 20 years and prosecuted the successful appeal of an improper trial jury charge, resulting in a published opinion in the case of Elkerson v. North Jersey Blood Center, 342 N.J. Super. 219 (App.Div.2001).

Gregg is active in the community, serving on the executive board of Marble Jam Kids, a non-profit organization that provides interactive arts and musical programs for children with autism spectrum issues and their parents. He is President of the Norsemen TD Club, the private booster club of the Northern Valley Demarest High School football program. Gregg was a long time youth football, basketball and baseball coach, and currently serves on the Demarest Borough Council. He has resided in Demarest for the past 20 years with his wife, Risa, and children Bailey and Taylor. Gregg is a member of Knickerbocker Country Club and boasts a very average golf game.

Mike Coen

Mike Coen joined Procida Funding and Advisors in June of 2015. Mike will be implementing a new servicing platform for new and existing loans at Procida. In an effort to streamline the asset management process Mike along with Christian Stuebe will be handing the day-to-day operations of the Procida Funding portfolio. Procida will carve a new niche in its existing business model by providing detailed servicing reporting and revenue collection.

Prior to joining Procida, Mike helped manage a portfolio of distressed residential/commercial assets at NRT REO Experts. Mike worked closely with various default servicing institutions including JP Morgan Chase, PHH Mortgage and Bank of America. Mr. Coen completed his Masters in Real Estate Development (MSRED) at Nova Southeastern University and recently completed NYU’s Schack Institute Professional Certification in Real Estate Finance and Investment.

Jessica Lacy

Jessica Lacy has over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate debt and equity investment industry. Jessica joined the firm in June 2012 with her primary focus being new business development and loan origination, as well as overseeing the marketing efforts of Procida Funding and the 100 Mile Fund.

Prior to joining Procida, Jessica served as Director of Marketing at Palisades Financial, a boutique commercial real estate lender and advisory firm. During her tenure at Palisades her main focus was managing a wide range of marketing initiatives and programs for the fund manager as well as debt placement for investments that fell outside the scope of the fund.

Jessica holds a B.S. in Marketing from Berkeley College.

Derek Weissman

Derek Weissman joined the team full time as an Associate in June 2015, following an internship in 2014. He graduated from University of Colorado Boulder. Derek’s primary responsibility is performing due diligence and asset management for the Small Balance team.

While at CU Derek studied Business Management and earned a certificate in Real Estate. Before joining Procida, Derek worked as a Market Research Analyst for Colliers International. While in school, Derek also held a position at Hapoalim Securities, working with the structured CD’s and Compliance departments.

While at University of Colorado Boulder Derek was a member Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

Michael Getoff

Michael Getoff joined the firm in December 2016 as Director of Investor Relations. Michael was one of the first investors in the 100 Mile Fund as well as William Procida’ s first fund, Palisades Regional Investment I. After a successful career as a business owner, Michael decided to pursue his passion of real estate. Over the past twenty years, Michael has raised nearly $20 million for funds led by William Procida. As Director of Investor Relations, Michael is an approachable resource for existing and potential investors.

Stephen Ferreri

Stephen Ferreri is a recent graduate from St. Johns University with a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance. While attending SJU, he was a practice player for the collegiate basketball team.

Prior to working at Procida, Stephen worked in the finance department at Allianz Global Investors in which he gained valuable experience in both the corporate finance and asset management fields.

Stephen recently completed additional coursework needed to become CPA eligible, as he looks to sit for the CPA in the next coming months. Billy and Stephen's father, who is a financial service CFO from Norwood, have known each other for over a decade.

Brian Foley

Brian Foley is a recent graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and real estate. Brian was a member of Penn's varsity swim and dive team, specializing in backstroke. Last summer, he interned at Advantage Futures located in Chicago, gaining experience in sales and trading.

Brian is also a Ciganek whom Mr. Procida has been friends with for two decades; Mr. Procida even bought the Ciganek house.
